About Massage

Massage therapy is used to manage and enhance health and wellness.  It can do this in the following ways:

- Improves circulation

- Stimulates lymph flow

- Relaxes & softens muscles

- Increases join flexibility

- Releases endorphins

- Reduces blood pressure

- Reduces stress

- Alleviates pain

- Relieves headaches and migraine pain

- Reduces anxiety

- Improves sleep

- and of course is deeply relaxing

Massage therapy comes in many forms, and as such I offer a variety of types of massage and alternative holistic therapies and healing methods. All of which are a natural approach to better health and well-being. The different Holistic therapies that I offer include;

Hot Stone Massage  |  Therapeutic Massage  |  Reflexology  |  Indian Head Massage  |  Ear Candling

Treatments range from 30 minutes to an hour so can easily fit into your day, helping you to make time for that much needed self-care which is so important, and so often over looked in our busy lives.

As one of my kind reviewers said; "Well-being isn’t a luxury & we need to take time out to look after ourselves." (Samantha Jayne)

Hot Stone Massage

Hot Stone Massage incorporates the use of heated basalt stones that are used to massage more deeply into tissue and transfer heat directly into muscles. The heat from the stones quickly relaxes your body, instilling a sense of calm and releasing any stored tension. This can be very beneficial for many things;

  -  blood circulation  -  relaxation  -  improving sleep  -  improving joint health  -  help with muscle recovery  -

managing pain  -  those with a physically demanding job  -  those suffering from stress or anxiety

Reflexology

Reflexology is a type of massage mainly focused on the feet. Reflexologists believe that the feet and hands mirror the body. Pressure placed on specific reflex points on the feet can be used to treat corresponding areas of the body, organs and systems, in order to stimulate natural healing points and promote well-being.

There are 7200 nerve endings in the foot, and pressure on them can promote deep relaxation. This allows blood to circulate more freely, thus distributing oxygen and nutrients throughout the body as well as removing waste products such as toxins.

The Consultation

You will be asked about your past and present health and then all you need to do is to remove your shoes & socks and sit back and relax whilst I work on your reflex points of your feet.

There may be areas of tenderness, or I may feel crystal deposits which are indications of an imbalance of the corresponding part of the body.

About Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy can help us see things in a completely different light as well as make it easier to cope with challenging aspects of our life in a more calm and effective way.

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is an altered state of awareness, which you experience naturally every day. It happens automatically anytime you become deeply relaxed or highly focused, such as when you are reading a good book or driving a car. The active mind becomes quiet and there is a slight shift in conciousness. Hypnosis simply takes you deeper into that shift in awareness, through techniques which focus the consious mind, such as guided visualisation or relaxation. Hypnotherapy puts the state of hypnosis to therapeutic use. In this altered state, the subconscious mind will be more open to accepting any positive suggestions helping you to address your issue and transform old unhelpful habits and behaviours into healthy, positive ones.

What can Hypnotherapy help with?

  • stopping smoking/vaping

  • weight loss

  • anxiety

  • stress

  • confidence issues

  • unwanted habits

  • relationship issues

  • sleeping problems

  • self-healing

  • sports performance

  • compulsive habits

  • fears and phobias

  • performance anxiety

  • relaxation

  • fear of flying

  • fear or public speaking

  • nail biting

  • interview anxiety

  • creative blocks

  • wedding day nerves

  • managing emotions

  • achieving goals

  •  exam nerves

  • self esteem issues

  • personal development

  • anger management

  • chronic pain

  • panic attacks

Hypnotherapy is one of the most pleasant, natural and relaxing therapies giving you a wonderful feeling of deep relaxation. You are ALWAYS in control in hypnosis. You will easily be able to come out of trance whenever you want. You cannot be hypnotised against your will or be made to do anything against your wishes.
